BROCK in California

You may meet and apply to adopt Brock at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 2nd from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com Brock is a male Cockapoo mix only 1 year of age.  He has gorgeous, shiny black and tan curls that are soft, non-shedding, and hypoallergenic.  His coloring is vivid and beautiful, especially around his face.  Brock has been professionally groomed and currently has a short summer cut.  Brock has an extremely mellow, easy going, and friendly disposition.  He is quite the gentleman.  He is agreeable to pretty much anything and is excellent inside the home.  Brock is quiet and well behaved, wanting simply to keep his family company.  He welcomes guests without barking or jumping, and is happy to greet company with a friendly tail wagging and perhaps a little kiss on the hand.  He is gentle and playful, happily romping in the backyard or enjoying time at the park.  Brock is an eager walking companion and absolutely loves to go places on leash.  He gets all excited when he sees the leash coming out and immediately puts on his big "happy dog" grin.  Brock is a lovely young dog, adorable and great out in public.  He rides nicely in the car and does not bark or get carsick.  He gets along just fine with other dogs, but would also be great as an only dog since he is confident and does not need the support of another dog.  It’s people that Brock loves the most and he promises to make a loyal, affectionate companion for some lucky person or family.  He is good with children and with cats.  Brock is very in tune with people, eager to please, smart, and highly trainable.  He is looking for his forever home today!  You may meet and apply to adopt Brock at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 2nd from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH located at 1280 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660. adoptpetmatch@gmail.comBrock's adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). So the best way to make sure the dog you are interested in attends is to fill out the application and be pre-approved.Astro is a 1-2 year old Bichon possibly Bichon mix. He weighs about 20lbs which means he's a bit bigger boy. He is best suited for an experienced home as he has recently been returned from a home that was not a good match. Astro is an option to live with other dogs. He is best suited to live with a confident, equally strong willed dog or by himself. He would be too bossy with a milder, meek type of dog. He's very confident and ready to take on the world! Astro could live with cats as well. He is friendly with them but not overly so. He was mildly curious for a few moments and then moved onto new things.Astro has a non-shedding coat that is an option for those who have allergies. He will require regular grooming. He wasn't well cared for previously but with a great groomer she was able to save a lot of his coat. He was rescued from the shelter where he was listed as a stray. We don't know his previous history but we know his future is very bright! Astro is crate trained.A healthy pet is a happy pet! (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.

Bo* in California

Poor Bo. He was in terrible condition when he arrived at my house. He had to be shaved because his hair was so matted and filled with burrs and foxtails. Once shaved, we realized that he is extremely thin and had foxtails buried in his skin. Bo is very shy and scared right now. I suspect he may have been abused, as well as neglected. He is still not feeling well, so I am not sure how much of that will go away once he is well. Every day, he gets a little more comfortable and I can tell that he is going to be a complete love when he is all better. Bo just needs a patient home that will make him feel like a secure part of the family. Bo is potty trained and is fine in a crate. You can see Bo's shelterYoutube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILaWj_4BlAI&feature=youtu.be for now. I will be posting new pictures and video of him soon, but in the meantime, please feel free to email me with questions at vineyardpups@gmail.com or call me at 707-761-4698 (Jillian) Please use the contact at the bottom of the listing for more info about this dog. To fill out an online application go to http://scooterspals.org/htmls/application.html. For more information about Scooter's Pals go to: www.scooterspals.org.
